The Base Ten Place Value Quiz is a free web app for practicing base-ten numbers and place value in a 4-choice quiz format.
All questions, choices, explanations, diagrams, and situations are original. The quiz is designed as independent practice for Grade 2 to Grade 5 learners.
Practice digits, place values, and decimals
Students can practice ones, tens, hundreds, thousands, expanded form, large numbers, powers of ten, decimal places, comparisons, ordering, and original place-value word-style questions.
Hints are generated for the current question and may include original SVG diagrams such as place-value charts, decimal-place charts, digit-shift diagrams, and comparison diagrams.
