What is the High School Biology Cell and Molecules Quiz?

This is a free, unofficial 4-choice quiz app for reviewing the cells and molecules area of high school biology.

The questions are original and focus on biomolecules, proteins, enzymes, nucleic acids, membranes, ATP, metabolism, and experimental reasoning, so students can connect vocabulary with function and data reading.

Original questions and diagrams

The app uses independently created question text, answer choices, explanations, and simple diagrams. It does not reproduce textbook passages, workbook problems, entrance exam questions, mock test questions, or existing educational diagrams.

Diagrams in the hints are simplified original SVG illustrations made for this app, such as enzyme-substrate models, membrane models, biomolecule cards, and reaction-rate sketches.

How this quiz can be used

Use short courses when you want to check one topic, such as membrane transport, amino acids, enzyme specificity, DNA/RNA, or ATP. Use the longer courses when you want to review the whole cells-and-molecules unit before a regular test.

The hints focus on how to think: identify the molecule group, connect structure with function, read reaction-rate data, and separate what an experiment directly shows from what it does not prove.

For teachers, parents, and self-study

The app is designed as a small review tool, not as a replacement for school lessons, textbooks, or official exam information. It can be used for quick warm-ups, independent review, and checking which ideas need more study.

If a question feels unclear, students can use the hint diagrams first, then check the course again. Repeating short 4-choice questions can help make terms such as active site, substrate specificity, nucleotide, ATP, and phospholipid bilayer easier to connect with their meanings.
