The High School Math I Data Analysis Quiz is a free 4-choice web app for practicing data analysis and introductory statistics in a game-like format.
It is designed for quick review from Grade 10 learning to Grade 11 and Grade 12 reinforcement. Students can check representative values, quartiles, box plots, variance, standard deviation, standardization, covariance, correlation coefficients, scatter plots, and reading data from tables or graphs.
All questions, choices, hints, charts, and numerical settings are original. The app does not reproduce textbook exercises, entrance exam questions, mock exam questions, worksheets, official PDFs, or copyrighted learning materials.
Each quiz uses small, readable data sets so that students can focus on the meaning of the calculation instead of only memorizing formulas.
Hints change according to the current question. They show steps such as sorting data, finding Q1 and Q3, calculating value × frequency, comparing deviations from the mean, and reading the direction of a scatter plot.
Original SVG diagrams are used for number lines, frequency bars, box plots, variance, transformations, standardization, scatter plots, and outliers.
The 10-question course is useful when you want to review quickly before class or a test. The 20-question courses are useful when you want to focus on one topic such as box plots, standard deviation, or correlation.
My Page stores challenge history, best records, and often missed questions, so repeated practice becomes easier.
First, try a short course without looking at formulas. If you miss a question, open the hint and check which step caused the mistake.
For variance and standard deviation, pay attention to the difference between deviation, squared deviation, variance, and standard deviation. For correlation, check both the scatter plot direction and the value of r.
